I was very impressed by this PMS 386 release.
But I had a problem on Sony w5500 with x264 movies. I cannot get the right image proportions and in the Transcode settings, the heigth parameter for resize seems inoperant.
The movies were 1280×544 and 1280×528 and i have not others specimens of x264.
And how to get LPCM 2 channels in place of AC3 ?
I am unable to recompile the sources but I can modify .conf files with a text editor.

I don’t know how to setup the w5500 correctly because I don’t have such a Sony tv but a Panasonic (without DLNA). I am not able to check the settings. Please post your questions in forum thread mentioned before where other Sony users participate.

P.S.
You don’t need to compile PMS yourself. You just have to setup PMS with Java-GUI and perhaps do some Sony specific modifications in conf-file.
