I discovered a new piece of case modding art in my hosts kitchen on New Year’s eve. Top applications are a media player and Chefkoch.de, a website with tons of recipes. The custom pc is said to have a high waf.

Motorola defy – test in steam bath

Today I tested my Motorola Defy cellphone in my steam bath.
What can I say? Test (nearly) passed…
The device played music via last.fm but one could’t use other apps after few minutes. The touchscreen didn’t respond well after some time in steam bath with 45°C temperature and high humidity.

Conclusion:
You may use it as a radio in your shower, other activities won’t work because of the touchscreen…

Motorola Defy – first impressions

Recently I bought a Motorola Defy. Here are some pictures:

The package included a 2GB micro sd card, an usb cable, head phones, an accu and a power charger for usb.

As you can see I already changed the memory card to 16GB and inserted the sim card of my provider.

Now you can insert the accu.

The cellphone is waterproof. But you have to seal the plugs for head phones and usb.

After unlocking the phone you have to type your pin for your sim card.

If you experience download problems in android marketplace change your google account from @googlemail.com to gmail.com. You have to reset the cellphone to factory settings to be able changing the google account. Your motoblur account will restore most of the other settings after doing that.
